[Sports Today Reporter Kim Tae-hyung] Singer Insooni revealed a private secret about her husband during a studio appearance, prompting laughter.
A preview clip for the March 16 broadcast of TV Chosun’s Joseon’s Lover shows the \”national diva\” Insooni in the studio, sharing daily life with her husband, who is four years younger.
Now in their 33rd year of marriage, Insooni credits mutual respect and careful speech for why they rarely argue. Her husband explained, \”It’s fine to use casual speech sometimes because we mostly speak respectfully,\” adding, \”It’s awkward for a younger person to speak casually to an elder… and for an older person to be casual, too.\”
When he politely—and almost comically—addressed his wife with deference rooted in traditional Confucian manners, Insooni quickly corrected him: \”I’m not an ‘elder’—nuna (older sister)!\” The remark set the studio laughing. She added, \”Even when voices get raised, honorifics are like the best medicine. Arguments often stop because they turn funny,\” sharing her strategy for avoiding fights.
In the studio, Kang Su-ji nodded and remarked, \”He seems like such a loving husband,\” but Insooni shot back with a playful complaint: \”No—we sleep in separate rooms.\”
Her husband hesitated, saying, \”I really understand other things, but…\” which piqued everyone’s curiosity. When pressed, Insooni revealed his private quirk: \”I can’t forgive farting under the covers,\” she declared, sending the set into an uproar.
The warm, affectionate daily life of the Insooni couple will be on display in TV Chosun’s hyper-real docu-reality show Joseon’s Lover on the 16th at 10 PM.
