Kolon FnC, the fashion arm of Kolon Industries, says its golf apparel label G/FORE is accelerating its push into the Japanese market.

Kolon FnC announced on March 16 that it opened a new G/FORE boutique at Tokyo’s luxury landmark Omotesando Hills on March 11. G/FORE first entered Tokyo’s premium golf market last year when it launched at the luxury mall Ginza Six.
Omotesando Hills is one of Tokyo’s premier shopping destinations, home to global luxury and high-contemporary labels. Rather than situating itself in the mall’s sports section—where most golf brands cluster—G/FORE has taken a spot on the second-floor fashion level alongside high-end fashion houses.
A G/FORE representative said, “The potential and momentum we observed in Japan since last year led to this Omotesando Hills expansion. We’ll continue to offer G/FORE’s distinctive brand experience and solidify our position as a luxury lifestyle brand across Asia, not just in Japan.”
In November 2024, Kolon FnC secured regional leadership by signing an exclusive master license agreement with G/FORE’s U.S. headquarters covering the Japanese and Chinese markets. Since last year’s spring/summer season, the company has been rolling out strategic stores in key shopping districts across both countries.
