Out-of-School Youth: Academic and Career Support Delivers Results — 2025 Academic Gains Achieved Through Sustained Assistance
The Uiwang Youth Foundation’s Out-of-School Youth Support Center (the support center) recorded notable outcomes in 2025 in the areas of academic and career support for out-of-school youth.
On the 17th, the center reported that 20 out-of-school youth enrolled in university, 42 passed the high school equivalency exam, and 31 obtained professional certifications — results the center described as meaningful achievements.
The city’s out-of-school youth support center operates a variety of programs designed to help participants grow into healthy, contributing members of society.
Through individualized learning support and equivalency exam preparation, career and vocational experiences, and certification courses, the center strengthens young people’s academic and workforce readiness. It also provides sustained support via tailored counseling, case management, and learning mentorship aligned with each youth’s circumstances and goals.
“We are very proud of the young people who discovered their potential and worked to pursue their dreams outside of school,” a center official said. “We will continue to provide comprehensive support so they can stay on track academically and advance their careers.”
