[Sports Today reporter Kim Tae-hyung] Comedian Heo Anna will join the show as a new “fated” couple alongside her handsome husband, Oh Kyung-ju.
On the March 17 episode of SBS’s Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 – You Are My Destiny (hereafter Same Bed, Different Dreams 2), Heo Anna and Oh Kyung-ju appear as the program’s newest “fated couple,” publicly opening up about their married life for the first time.
Comedian Hong Hyun-hee, widely adored as part of the “Hongssun” duo, joins as a special MC. Having recently slimmed down, she arrives in a glamorous gown and immediately commands the studio’s attention.
Hong shocks the room with a headline-making marital anecdote about her husband, Jae-sseun. Known for her bold comedic instincts, Hong admits she once hurled an egg at Jae-sseun’s head while on a moving KTX train. Jae-sseun fires back, “I’m not a comedian. Your behavior always goes too far.” The explosive exchange leaves viewers eager to learn the full story behind the fight.
The episode also offers the first look inside Heo Anna and Oh Kyung-ju’s home. The footage opens with stacks of delivery boxes at the entryway and pans across rooms cluttered with belongings. Cabinets are crammed with miscellany and the overall impression is one of near-saturation. Studio guests gasp when the camera reveals dried-out plants abandoned on the balcony. According to reports, even Seo Jang-hoon was visibly stunned by the unprecedented level of clutter in what producers called a “maxed-out” house.
Viewers will also see a day in the life of Oh Kyung-ju. The husband runs a casual izakaya-style tavern on Yongnidan-gil and—true to his nickname “Yongnidan-gil’s Best”—he adheres to a distinctive culinary philosophy. The establishment has no prominent signage and its unassuming exterior gives little clue that it’s a restaurant. Still, Oh insists he’ll let the food speak for itself. “I don’t want to draw attention,” he says, maintaining a strict no-promotion policy that reportedly left the MCs frustrated.
To help revive her husband’s business, Heo Anna launches a high-impact marketing effort. She rolls out inventive promotions and even personally invites ultra-VIP celebrities to dine. One visiting VIP who sampled Oh’s aged sashimi gushed, “It’s heavenly. It tastes like something you’d have abroad,” boosting anticipation for the segment.
The full reveal of the record-setting “overflow house” that shocked Seo Jang-hoon—and the identity of the ultra-VIP celebrity who visited Heo Anna’s couple—will be shown in the broadcast.
