[Sports Today reporter Lim Si-ryeong] Singer Hwanhee is joining KBS2’s Salim-nam (The Men Who Keep House) Season 2.
Hwanhee recently confirmed his appearance on Salim-nam and will debut as a new cast member on the 21st broadcast. He plans to share everyday moments and a more personal side that viewers have not seen on television before.
Through the show, Hwanhee will, for the first time, open up about family matters and personal stories that rarely surface in broadcasts. Those honest, offstage moments are expected to bring him closer to audiences, far removed from his stage persona.
Production sources say the team pursued Hwanhee for an extended period. Producers reportedly courted him for about three years, consistently making offers until his participation was finally secured, a development that has raised expectations.
Hwanhee debuted as a member of Fly To The Sky and built a reputation as a premier balladeer with hits like \”Sea of Love,\” \”Missing You\” and \”Even If It Hurts.\” Recently, he has also made notable strides in the trot genre, earning an informal reputation as the \”Prince of Trot,\” which has only increased interest in the new facets he will reveal on Salim-nam.
Hwanhee’s first appearance on Salim-nam will air on the 21st at 9:20 p.m.
