[Sports Today reporter Lim Si-ryeong] ‘The Man Who Lives with the King’ has now surpassed 13.7 million admissions.
On March 18, the Korea Film Council’s integrated box office system reported that the film drew 120,449 viewers the previous day, bringing its cumulative total to 13,722,161.
The film reached 10 million admissions 31 days after release and has sustained strong box-office momentum since. Having already outpaced titles like Spring in Seoul, Avatar and Veteran, it’s poised to overtake Frozen II, which logged about 13.76 million admissions. Industry watchers are also eyeing whether it can surpass Avengers: Endgame, which reached roughly 13.93 million.
Hoppers drew 8,474 viewers, holding the No. 2 spot and raising its total to 547,820.
In third place, Samakdo attracted 4,558 viewers, bringing its cumulative total to 65,627. Following them, Humint ranked fourth and Pride and Prejudice placed fifth.
Meanwhile, in real-time advance-ticket rankings, Project Hail Mary led with a 40.7% share of bookings. The Man Who Lives with the King remained in second with 28.9%.
