Discover the Best of 2026: Mirato Shine Muscat Sparkling Wine Takes Top Honors

[iNews24 reporter So Jin-seop] Yeongdong wine from Chungbuk showcased its quality and competitive edge at the 2026 Korea Liquor Awards.

Yeongdong County says that at the March 24 awards ceremony held at The Westin Chosun Seoul, 12 local wines were honored for their outstanding quality.

Most notably, Geumyong Nongsan’s ‘Mirato Shine Muscat Sparkling’ took home the top prize: Best of 2026.

‘Mirato Shine Muscat Sparkling’ is a premium sparkling wine that pairs the Shine Muscat grape’s fragrant, floral aroma with bright, crisp effervescence.

Designated in 2005 as the country’s only grape-and-wine industry special zone, Yeongdong now boasts about 30 wineries that use unique winemaking methods to produce a wide range of distinctive wines.
