[Sports Today reporter Song Oh-jung] When asked what would distinguish this season of Lee Seo-jin’s Dalla Dalla, producer Na Young-seok replied, \”Honestly, we tried not to change it.\”
The press event for Netflix’s new variety series Lee Seo-jin’s Dalla Dalla was held the morning of March 24 at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall. Producer Na Young-seok, producer Kim Ye-seul and actor Lee Seo-jin were in attendance.
Asked how it differs from the New York New York series, Na said, \”There aren’t any major changes. The biggest differences are the platform and the location. This season was produced with support from Netflix.\”
He added, \”When we were planning, we decided that changing platforms shouldn’t force a change in the program itself.\”
Na explained, \”I think viewers who enjoy this show appreciate its casual, go-with-your-heart freedom. They also respond to the charm Lee Seo-jin displays along the way. We worked to protect those qualities. Of course, it’s natural for a show to evolve and for us to want to present something new, but I also believe there’s a clear desire among some viewers for certain programs to remain the same. Where possible, we aimed to keep it that way.\”
Meanwhile, Lee Seo-jin’s Dalla Dalla premieres today (March 24) at 5 p.m. on Netflix.
