The 2026 New York Festival Korea National Brand Awards are hosted by the New York Festival — one of the world’s three major advertising festivals. Terra received high marks for brand image power, product quality, consumer loyalty and global competitiveness, scoring 75.48 on the National Brand Competitiveness Index (NCI) and claiming first place in the beer category for the third year running.

Launched in March 2019 with the “100% real carbonation” concept, Terra reached one million cases in just 39 days — the fastest sales pace among beer brands. Now, seven years after its debut, the brand has sold a cumulative 6 billion bottles (330 ml, about 11.2 fl oz, as of March 31) and has grown into one of South Korea’s leading beer labels.

To celebrate its seventh anniversary, Terra tapped soccer star Son Heung-min — who symbolizes Korea’s number 7 — as its brand ambassador and is running an integrated campaign across multiple channels.

A HiteJinro marketing official said, “We’re thrilled that Terra, now in its seventh year, has ranked first in the beer category at the 2026 New York Festival Korea National Brand Awards for the third straight year. This year, we’ll redouble our efforts to cement Terra’s momentum through a variety of collaborations with Son Heung-min.”
