Goryeong County in North Gyeongsang Province harvested its first watermelons of the season on the 8th.

Seo Hun-tae’s farm in Nogok-ri, Dasan-myeon produced 1,500 watermelons in the initial harvest. They’re expected to go on sale beginning next month.

Crispy and sweet with a silky finish, these watermelons are a crowd-pleaser for people of all ages.

To uphold its watermelon reputation, Dasan-myeon’s 23 farms cultivate them in 337 greenhouse units across 22.2 hectares.
