Translation result[강서구 [Herald Economy = Reporter Park Byung-guk] Seoul’s Gangseo District will host the 14th Gangseo Children’s Fairy Tale Festival at Banghwa Neighborhood Park on the 25th.

This year’s festival, themed “Fairy Tale Stories Drawn by Children and AI,” celebrates the timeless joy of reading in the age of artificial intelligence. Organizers have lined up programs that creatively pair books with AI to make stories feel fresh and interactive.

The day kicks off with a parade starting at 10 a.m., winding through the Banghwa-dong neighborhood.

The route covers about 1.2 km, stretching from Seoul Digital Content High School to Banghwa Neighborhood Park. Children dressed as beloved storybook characters—like The Nutcracker, Alice in Wonderland and The Ugly Duckling—will march in the procession.

An LED vehicle showing fairy-tale videos generated by AI will also join the parade this year.

After the parade, the opening ceremony begins at 11 a.m. on the park’s main stage. To symbolize stepping into a storybook world, a robot puppy will present a special performance in which it delivers a “golden key.”

Throughout the festival grounds you’ll find hands-on activity zones, play areas, performance stages and photo spots.

The hands-on area will host 28 booths offering interactive programs that bring books to life—moving beyond simple reading to immersive experiences.

Notable AI-driven attractions include an “AI Fairy Tale Transformation” photo zone and an interactive “Find Your Way Through a Story with AI Robots” experience.

In the play area, visitors can enjoy rides like a fire-safety escape air-bounce and bumper cars. The central plaza and main stage will feature performances by local clubs and children, including singing, instrumental pieces and dance.

You can also strike a pose in character-themed photo zones and grab food from trucks serving a variety of options, from Western and Japanese dishes to Korean snack-style fare.

The festival will close with an AI magic show, promising a dazzling finale.
