Sempio Foods kicked off its “Warm Meal Sharing” campaign for Family Month in May. On May 23, the initiative delivered soy sauce, the cooking essence Yori Essence Yeondu, and a variety of seasonings and sauces needed for meal prep to the Seongdong Municipal Senior Welfare Center in Seoul’s Seongdong District.

Founded in 1946, Sempio has long made employee well-being, community contribution, and cultural diversity core values. The company has consistently promoted Korean food culture and teamed up with local communities to foster shared growth. Its ongoing Warm Meal Sharing campaign partners with organizations to make healthy eating more accessible.

The campaign was designed to help local older adults enjoy more balanced meals. Sempio’s Chief Customer Officer, Kim Jeong-su, and Seongdong Municipal Senior Welfare Center Director Ahn Soon-bong attended the event. Director Ahn said, “We deeply thank Sempio for this warm support for the health and diets of our local older adults ahead of Family Month. We’ll do our best to use the donated products to provide healthier, more nutritious meals for them.”

The donated items will be used by the welfare center to prepare meals for neighborhood seniors. Sempio’s Yori Essence Yeondu delivers a rich, clean flavor from the natural umami of fermented soybeans and a broth brewed from eight vegetables, helping cooks preserve each ingredient’s original taste while finishing healthy dishes quickly and easily.

A Sempio representative added, “We carefully selected these products to offer practical help in preparing balanced meals for older adults. We’ll continue supporting healthy eating and community-focused sharing activities going forward.”
