Experience the Thrill: Incheon’s Sky184 Observation Deck Opens May 2026

Translation result더 By Lee Hong-seok, Herald Economy (Incheon) A new sky-high lookout over the Incheon sea—where the city and ocean stretch out in every direction—is opening to the public this May.

The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority announced on the 27th that THE SKY184, built on the Cheongna Sky Bridge, will be accessible to visitors sometime in May.

THE SKY184 is anchored by a sky observatory at 184 meters (about 604 ft) and also features a rooftop viewing deck, a sea observatory, a waterfront area, and a traveler center. The facility will open in phases.

Key spaces—the traveler center, the sky and sea observatories, and the waterfront area—will open on May 7. The Edge Walk, a hands-on attraction that lets guests walk the exterior rim of the 184-meter observatory, will launch on May 15.

On Edge Walk, participants are secured with safety gear as they stroll the outer edge and take in sweeping views of the ocean and city below. It’s an ideal pick for anyone craving a little adrenaline with their skyline views.

The sky observatory and Edge Walk require paid admission. The sea observatory, waterfront area, and traveler center are free and open to everyone.

Hours are 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Paid attractions run on scheduled sessions: Edge Walk offers four sessions per day (each about 1 hour 30 minutes), and the sky observatory runs 10 sessions per day (each about 1 hour).

THE SKY184 will be closed on Mondays, January 1, and the days of Lunar New Year and Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving). The waterfront area, however, will remain open year-round.

Admission is 15,000 KRW (about $11.25) for the sky observatory and 60,000 KRW (about $45) for the Edge Walk experience, which includes access to the sky observatory. Incheon residents receive a 50% discount.

Advance reservations open May 4 at 2:00 PM on the Cheongna Sky Bridge website.
