On the 27th, the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority announced that THE SKY184, a new tourist complex on the Cheongna Sky Bridge linking Cheongna International City and Yeongjong International City, will open to the public in May.

THE SKY184 is anchored by a sky observatory 184 meters high (about 604 ft) and includes a rooftop deck, a sea-view platform, a waterfront area, and a visitor center—perfect for panoramic views and picture-perfect moments.

The visitor center, the sky and sea observation decks, and the waterfront area will begin operations on May 7.

Edge Walk, an immersive attraction that lets visitors literally walk above the city, will start on May 15 after safety inspections and trial runs.

Edge Walk invites guests, secured in safety gear, to walk the outer edge of the 184-meter (about 604 ft) observatory while taking in sweeping sea and city vistas.

The sky observatory and Edge Walk are ticketed attractions; the sea deck, waterfront area, visitor center, and other common spaces are free to enter.

The facility is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Edge Walk runs four sessions a day, each roughly 1 hour and 30 minutes, and the sky observatory offers 10 sessions a day, each about 1 hour.

The sky and sea decks and the visitor center will be closed every Monday, on January 1, and on the Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays; the waterfront area will remain open year-round.

Admission is 15,000 KRW (about $11.25) for the sky observatory and 60,000 KRW (about $45.00) for the Edge Walk experience (which includes sky observatory access). Incheon residents receive a 50% discount.

Advance reservations open at 2 p.m. on May 4 via the Cheongna Sky Bridge website (www.ifezbridge.go.kr).

Incheon Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok said, “The Cheongna Sky Bridge tourism facilities create a fresh tourism space that blends scenic views, hands-on experiences, and cultural content. Through a variety of programs, we will develop this into a signature destination for Incheon.”
