On May 5, her agency BH Entertainment announced that Han Ji-min donated 50 million KRW (approximately $37,500) to JTS (Join Together Society). The agency said the funds will support programs that fight child hunger worldwide and expand educational opportunities for children in need.

The campaign, run by Korean JTS and Gilbeot, operates under the theme ‘Help children in war, civil war, disaster, and poverty zones.’ Gilbeot is a volunteer group of broadcast, film, and performing artists. Since 2004, the group has held annual street fundraising drives ahead of Children’s Day, and Han Ji-min has contributed both financially and through regular in-person participation. She took part in the street fundraiser in Myeong-dong on May 2 and has personally joined JTS’s fundraising campaigns since 2007.

Han has been a leading presence at the poverty-eradication street fundraisers held each Children’s Day and at year-end. Four years ago, when heavy rain forced organizers to cancel the Children’s Day street drive, she donated 50 million KRW (approximately $37,500) through online fundraising instead.

Han Ji-min’s steady giving offers hope to children in need and helps foster a broader culture of compassion across society.
