[Green Economy News = Reporter Moon Hong-joo] IPARK Hyundai Development has been rolling out expanded post-move-in services designed to boost resident satisfaction. On April 25 at Daejeon IPARK City, the newly launched IPARK DAY drew a strong response and moved into full operation.

IPARK DAY merges the former Homecoming Day and landscaping maintenance training into a single, larger program centered on resident participation. It offers hands-on activities—such as kitchen tool sharpening and balloon art—along with maintenance services like cleaning common areas, so residents can take part directly and develop a sense of ownership in their community.

The new IPARK Gardening program is a practical, hands-on academy where residents work with professional instructors to select plants and pots and plant them themselves. Participants can take their finished planters home and continue caring for them in daily life.

The IPARK Drawing program invites entire families to paint scenes from the complex as a cultural activity, emphasizing parent-child participation to strengthen community bonds and encourage communication.

During the event, services included kitchen tool sharpening and disinfection of community facilities, the library and other shared spaces. On-site photography and additional entertainment were also offered. The program paired these activities with social contribution efforts—clothing, book and appliance donations in partnership with Beautiful Store and a rice-distribution campaign for vulnerable groups—to add wider community impact.

One resident who attended said, \”We had a great time—there were so many programs families could join together.\” She added, \”These offerings aren’t just events; they’re practical services that have greatly increased our satisfaction with the complex.\”

IPARK Hyundai Development will operate IPARK DAY across 14 complexes and 11,472 households from April 25 through May 17. Starting at Daejeon IPARK City, the events will roll out to Beomeo IPARK, Cheongju Gagyeong complexes 3, 4 and 5, Gunsan Hosu Park IPARK and Nonsan IPARK, with plans to expand to additional communities.

A company spokesperson said, \”The key is to build pride in living at IPARK by offering hands-on, enjoyable experiences,\” adding, \”We will continue to develop differentiated services by actively incorporating residents’ feedback.\”

A construction industry expert called the programs \”an effective long-term strategy,\” saying they turn residents from passive beneficiaries into active participants—strengthening community ties and boosting brand loyalty.
