[Herald Economy (Yeongcheon)=Reporter Kim Byung-jin] On May 8, Wansan-dong in Yeongcheon, North Gyeongsang Province, distributed “Love Carnation” flower baskets to 25 households of local seniors living alone in observance of Family Month. The local government partnered with caregivers from the Maya Silbi Nursing Home’s customized elder-care service to deliver the baskets. Wansan-dong chief Han Mu-hyun said, “We will continue to strengthen a tightly knit, community-based care system to ensure no neighbor is left behind.”
