Anchor Kwon Sun-pyo said, “We don’t obsess over rankings. The production team strives to make a program with conviction, and that effort has produced positive results. We’ll stay alert on the air so ‘News High Kick’ can continue asking the right questions.”
An MBC Radio representative said, “We have maintained our position as a radio leader and again topped overall listenership in the first half of 2026. We plan to strengthen our channel competitiveness by expanding into digital areas while building on solid traditional radio content.”
The survey was carried out by Korea Research through computer-assisted telephone interviews over two weeks, from the 7th to the 20th of last month. It sampled 3,000 residents of Seoul and the greater metropolitan area, ages 15–69, who listen to radio at least five minutes a day. The margin of error is ±1.8 percentage points at the 95% confidence level.
