1st Emergency Employment and Labor Situation Review Meeting[Yonhap News file][Yonhap News file]

Employment and Labor Minister Kim Young-hoon said today (the 11th) he hopes Samsung Electronics’ management and labor will “set a new model in labor‑management relations, just as they built a world‑class company through technology.” At the emergency employment and labor situation review convened today, Kim welcomed the Central Labor Commission’s start of a post‑mediation process with the consent of both sides. He said he hopes this case will prompt a robust public debate on fair corporate profit‑sharing and distribution, and pledged that the government will support those efforts. Samsung’s management and union failed to reach an agreement during mediation that ran through March; the Central Labor Commission plans to carry out post‑mediation through tomorrow. #SamsungElectronics #LaborUnion #CentralLaborCommission #PostMediation Yonhap News TV tips and inquiries: KakaoTalk/Line jebo23.
