[EPN Enpinau reporter Go Nari] Early-morning classes at Lee Hyori’s yoga studio in Yeonhui-dong, Seoul, have drawn warm praise from students.

On the 14th, Lee Hyori shared photos from a session on her official social media account. Attendees stood out for their intense focus and deep immersion in the practice.

Lee Hyori wrote, “It looks like everyone enjoyed this morning’s class. Let’s keep having fun,” adding, “The body’s warmth and calm after long concentration — a healthy satisfaction that comes only to those who push themselves to the end.” Her message highlighted what made the session special.

That day, attendees posted upbeat reactions and playful comments. Under a group photo, one student quipped, “No, we’re not standing here as punishment for being scolded by the teacher.” Another wrote, “I finally took Ms. Hyori’s class. She smiled, handed me candy and praised my effort — she’s beautiful,” conveying warmth and admiration.

Lee Hyori actively engaged by resharing students’ posts. The studio atmosphere leans away from strictness; casual conversation and laughter create an encouraging, warm environment.

Recently, Lee Hyori spoke candidly about the practical challenges of running the studio. On her channel “Ah Yoga,” she said, “Early-morning classes tend to draw long-term members, while the later morning slots attract many one-day trial participants.”

She acknowledged that accommodating such a diverse mix can be difficult and described addressing those concerns as part of her own practice as a studio director.

Lee Hyori also admitted it can be hard to guide students through demanding poses. When she sees someone struggling, she said, her instinct is to ease them out quickly — sometimes ending a pose earlier than planned.

On the program “Channel Sibo-ya,” she showed the same candor — helping students loosen muscles during class and speaking openly about unplanned, natural moments.

After marrying in 2013, Lee Hyori lived in Jeju before moving back to Seoul last year. She now runs the Yeonhui-dong studio herself and continues to engage with a diverse group of students.
