[JoyNews24 reporter Jung Ji-won] BabyMonster’s third mini-album title track, “춤 (CHOOM),” music video has surpassed 100 million views on YouTube.
YG Entertainment said on the 18th that the video crossed the 100 million mark at about 2:50 p.m., roughly 14 days after its release on the 4th.

“춤 (CHOOM)” highlights the group’s signature choreography and sweeping large-scale formations. Upon release it shot to No. 1 on YouTube’s worldwide trending list and was the platform’s most-watched video within 24 hours. It also topped YouTube’s global daily music-video chart and China’s QQ Music MV chart.
With this milestone, BabyMonster now has 16 videos with more than 100 million views. Their official channel has exceeded 12 million subscribers, and their cumulative views have topped 8.4 billion.
Following the release of their third mini-album, BabyMonster reached No. 1 on the iTunes Worldwide Albums chart and sold 750,000 copies in its first week. In June they will launch their second world tour, beginning in Seoul and spanning five continents: Asia, Oceania, Europe, North America and South America.
Signed to YG Entertainment, BabyMonster has been solidifying its position in the global music market, with each title-track video rapidly amassing hundreds of millions of views. Backed by strong live vocals and performance skills, the group has posted gains in both album sales and YouTube metrics and plans to further expand its global footprint with a major world tour starting in June.
