Bespoke SUV that channels Alpine spirit
[Herald Economy=Reporter Je-in Kwon] Bentley Motors unveiled the Mulliner special model, the Bentayga EWB Chalet Edition, on May 20 in collaboration with luxury lifestyle influencer Kreshtat Guy.
Built on the Bentayga EWB Azure, the limited-run Chalet Edition takes its cues from upscale Swiss Alps chalets and was conceived as the “perfect Alpine companion.”
Mulliner, Bentley’s bespoke division, said it paired Kreshtat Guy’s eye for detail with the marque’s craftsmanship to translate restrained luxury and an Alpine lifestyle into the vehicle.
Inside, the team set out to recreate the snug atmosphere of a traditional timber chalet. Saddle-colored leather is paired with liquid-amber open-pore wood veneer and fireglow accents to produce a warm, refined cabin. The specification includes four comfort seats and a rear center console.
The front veneer bears a laser-etched Kreshtat Guy emblem and chalet graphics, while alpine-flower embroidery — a nod to Swiss heritage — decorates the headrests and cushions. A dedicated welcome lamp and special-edition lettering complete the bespoke touches.
The exterior is finished in a bespoke “Light Tudor Gray,” a hand-applied color that takes about 60 hours to complete. A bronze styling-spec body kit and fireglow pinstripes underscore the model’s understated luxury.
Buyers can opt for a bespoke saddle-leather boot protector, styled to Kreshtat Guy’s preferences. The accessory transforms the trunk into a premium bench suitable for outdoor use.
