Singer Lim Young-woong has ventured into voice acting.

On April 19, MrBeast’s official YouTube channel posted a video titled “To the Last Person Remaining in the Store: $250,000 (approximately 333,333,333 KRW).”

The channel, which has about 470 million subscribers, is the world’s most-subscribed YouTube channel and is known for philanthropic stunts — building schools, rescuing animals in life-threatening situations and digging wells in underserved communities.

Because it reaches a global audience, the channel often dubs videos into multiple languages so viewers around the world can watch comfortably. Lim took part in that dubbing effort for the Korean version.

In the clip Lim joined, titled “Surviving the Store,” he provided the Korean voice for one of the customers. Contestants endure chaotic scenes — riots, fights and deception — and Lim fully immersed himself, delivering a vivid, energetic performance.

The opportunity came through Nam Do-hyung, a voice actor who works on MrBeast’s Korean dubbing project. Nam supplies the Korean voice for the channel’s host, Jimmy.

Lim’s agency, Mulgogi Music, released photos from the dubbing session that drew attention. Notably, Lim swapped his signature black hair for a new blond style as he tried his hand at voice work.

Lim Young-woong’s dubbing appearance is available on the MrBeast YouTube channel.
