Translation result혼다데이 [베이스캠프] [Herald Economy = Reporter Seo Jae-geun] MUJU, South Korea — Honda Korea said on April 27 that it successfully wrapped up “Honda Day [Basecamp]” on April 25 at Deogyusan Resort in Muju, North Jeolla Province.

Honda Day is the company’s flagship customer event, staged at major regional hubs to showcase a Honda lifestyle and strengthen ties with customers. The series launched in 2022 in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province, and has since visited Chuncheon (Gangwon Province), Gyeongju and Sangju (North Gyeongsang Province), and Yongin (Gyeonggi Province).

This year’s gathering carried the slogan “Basecamp.” Honda Korea chose Muju for its central location and easy nationwide access, presenting the event as a shared basecamp where customers who set out from different paths can come together.

Organizers set up a self-camping zone where attendees could relax, play board games and soak up a camping-style atmosphere.

The program lineup was expanded from last year to better serve families, friends and couples. To boost engagement, organizers introduced a stamp-rally: participants collected stamps by joining events and could redeem a set number for special prizes.

The motorcycle program proved especially popular. Attendees test-rode 11 models, including the classic naked GB350 series and the road-sport CBR650R and CB650R equipped with Honda’s E-Clutch. The event also showcased Honda’s latest motorcycles, including the newly released 2026 Super Cub, and featured a Honda Education Center where visitors could learn about rider safety and demonstrate skills in a mini gymkhana.

Interactive attractions drew strong interest as well. Highlights included the Trunk Tetris challenge—fitting boxes of various sizes into a trunk—the Ryan Water Cup Rescue challenge, which had drivers navigate a course while balancing a cup of water on a car hood, and a blind-spot simulation designed to demonstrate real-world road safety benefits.

Honda Mobility Cafe “The Go Zone” offered premium food, drinks and a comfortable lounge. The sponsor zone, featuring the Honda Seller Zone (run by Honda owners who operate motorcycle apparel and accessory brands), along with Pro Honda, Pirelli Tires and Pips Motorcycle, provided additional exhibits and activities.

About 1,800 people attended this edition of Honda Day [Basecamp], bringing total participation in Honda Day events since 2022 to roughly 10,500.
