According to the Dalseong Cultural Foundation, roughly 50,000 visitors streamed through the doors of the National Daegu Science Museum during the event.
This year’s festival placed an emphasis on fostering independence and creativity among children.
The site featured a broad lineup of hands-on crafting stations, play-based attractions and interactive programs designed to engage young visitors.
Live performances were a constant draw: magicians, bubble artists, circus acts and mime troupes entertained audiences throughout the festival.
When creators widely known as children’s favorites took the stage — including Heopop and Geupsikwang — excitement reached a fever pitch.
Children who had previously seen these stars only on screens packed the area in front of the stage and cheered every move. The collision of popular creators and enthusiastic kids turned the grounds into a jubilant celebration.
On the festival’s final day, which coincided with Children’s Day, the program closed with a Pororo sing-along show and a performance by Shuppeolman.
A Dalseong Cultural Foundation official said the foundation plans to continue offering distinctive programs that nurture children’s creativity and help families build lasting memories.
