Baek Jong-won, CEO of The Born Korea and renowned TV personality, has lost his mother.
Lee Kyung-sook, mother of Baek Jong-won and mother-in-law to actress So Yoo-jin, passed away on the 10th at the age of 86.
The wake will be held on the morning of the 11th at Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital, Room 31. The funeral is scheduled for the 13th, with the burial site located in Seogye-yang-ri, Sinyang-myeon, Yesan County, Chungcheongnam Province.
In a 2022 YouTube video, Baek Jong-won shared a poignant moment about his mother. He revealed, “When I said I wanted to start a business, my grandparents were against it. My mother often faced their disapproval because of me. I’m grateful and sorry to her for that.”
Baek Jong-won married actress So Yoo-jin in 2013. The couple has three children – one son and two daughters.
