[Sports Today reporter Song O-jeong] Actress Lee Hwa-gyeom (real name Lee Yu-young) announced her marriage.
On March 13, Lee wrote on her social media: At the end of this month, I will begin a new chapter in my life. I have met someone who can be a comforting friend in calm times and a sturdy umbrella on stormy days. I am grateful to have found this person, and I plan to walk the rest of my life with them, she wrote.
She added that she is deeply grateful to everyone who has continuously supported her, and that she will work even harder to continue showing her best as an actress, Lee Hwa-gyeom.
Lee debuted in 2012 as a member of the girl group Hello Venus. After transitioning to acting, she has continued to use the stage name Lee Hwa-gyeom. Her television credits include the dramas Please, Captain, Wonderful Mama, Mother’s Garden, and Salon de Holmes.

It feels like New Year’s Day was just yesterday, but it’s already a warm March. I hope you are all healthy and doing well 🙂
I want to share a personal update with the people who always support me.
At the end of this month, I will begin a new chapter in my life. I have met someone who, at times, is a comfortable friend and, on rainy days, a big umbrella—someone I am truly grateful for—and I plan to walk the rest of my life with that person.
I am deeply thankful to everyone who has consistently supported me. I will continue to work hard to show you my best as an actress, Lee Hwa-gyeom 🙂
