[Sports Today reporter Kim Tae-hyung] MBC’s ‘Manitto Club’ embarks on a high-tension covert operation to infiltrate a fire station.
On the March 15 broadcast, MBC’s ‘Manitto Club’ sends Jung Hae-in, Go Yoon-jung, Park Myung-soo, Hong Jin-kyung, Kim Do-hoon and chef Yoon Nam-no to Bucheon Fire Station for a \”Secret Manitto\” mission, where they will prepare a meaningful meal for the crew.
Chef Yoon recalls a past incident when he badly cut his hand and was assisted by an off-duty firefighter. Wanting to give more than just a late-night snack, he pours his heart into preparing a sincere meal. To avoid detection at a 24-hour station, the team stages a covert disguise-and-infiltration operation, heightening the suspense.
Kim Do-hoon and Chef Yoon pose as documentary narrators, delivering deadpan, assured performances. They carry out bold interviews and proactive scouting, but when the surprise \”avatar\” operation kicks off, their attempts to keep straight faces in a tense moment spark big laughs.
Though introduced as documentary narrators, their increasingly suspicious behavior soon threatens to blow their cover. Kim Do-hoon blurts out an unexpected \”I love you,\” and Park Myung-soo’s absurd avatar demands — escalating to requests for song and dance — finally break their composure, leaving the scene in comic chaos. Viewers will be left wondering whether the members can still pull off their plan to slip into the firehouse cafeteria.
In this episode, the Manitto members prepare 60 late-night meals for the firefighters. With a hard five-hour deadline to complete every dish, the mission turns into a de facto time-attack, promising utter mayhem.
