[Sports Today reporter Im Si-ryeong] Actress Kang So-ra will open up about her relationship with her husband on SBS’s ‘Are You Serious!’.
The March 23 episode of SBS’s ‘Are You Serious!’ will feature Kang, who promises to reveal a side of her personality viewers haven’t seen and to generate lively chemistry with the four hosts.
Kang revealed she met her husband on a blind date and was unexpectedly charmed by his cool, non-clingy demeanor — a story she’s sharing publicly for the first time. She also recounted a petty domestic squabble: her husband reportedly puts partially eaten kkakdugi (radish kimchi) with bite marks back in the fridge, a habit that frequently leads to arguments and drew laughter from the studio. When the hosts asked how she cools off after a fight, Kang quipped that since her husband practices traditional Korean medicine, imagining him as her personal healer helps calm her down, prompting more laughter on set.
Kang spoke candidly about the challenges of parenting, noting that raising a son differs from raising a daughter: \”My son expresses it as anger, while my daughter shows irritation,\” she said, a remark that resonated with the studio. To relieve stress, she said she sometimes goes to a coin karaoke alone and even performed her go-to EXO song; EXO’s Kai surprised everyone by harmonizing on the spot. The impromptu duet between Kang and Kai will be featured in full on the broadcast.
Kang also revealed she’s adept at buying and selling used goods. She boasted a \”manner temperature\” of 71.8 degrees on a secondhand marketplace and 667 completed transactions — including in-person meetups. When co-host Lee Su-ji asked whether her celebrity status eases concerns about counterfeit items, Kang laughed that if someone seems doubtful she simply slips her mask down briefly to show her face — a refreshingly down-to-earth move for a screen star.
