[Sports Today reporter Song O-jung] Actor Lee Seo-jin weighed in on his recent Entertainment Awards honor and how it relates to his new show, Lee Seo-jin’s Dalla Dalla.
On the morning of the 24th, Netflix held a press event for the new variety series Lee Seo-jin’s Dalla Dalla at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall. The event was attended by producers Na Young-seok and Kim Ye-seul, along with Lee Seo-jin.
Lee was awarded the Top Excellence Award at last year’s SBS Entertainment Awards. Some suggested that winning might have changed his outlook going into the show, since the award was announced before the program aired.
Lee laughed and clarified, “Dalla Dalla was filmed in March of last year, and I received the award afterward. So the show reflects how I felt before I won the award…”
Now preparing for a stage production, Lee said he’s living the demanding life of a theater actor. “Won’t the Entertainment Awards be forgotten in two weeks? I don’t think about it much,” he said. “The grand prize (Daesang) will stick with me, but the Top Excellence Award will just fade.”
Meanwhile, Lee Seo-jin’s Dalla Dalla premieres on Netflix today (the 24th) at 5 p.m.
