[Sports Today Reporter Im Si-ryeong] Actor Kim Hong-pyo has announced the birth of his daughter.
Kim revealed on Instagram on April 1 that he had become a father, saying both his daughter and his wife are healthy.
Photos he shared show Kim beaming beside his newborn daughter.
He wrote that entering this new chapter as a father has changed his perspective and thanked everyone who has supported him. He also joked that, combined, he and his wife are 100 years old (Korean age), and offered encouragement to others preparing for parenthood.
Kim first debuted in 1995 as part of SBS’s fifth talent intake and has since appeared in numerous productions, including Im Kkeok-jeong, Scandal, and the melodrama Temptation of Wife. In December 2021, he married a non-celebrity who is six years his junior.
