‘Solo Inferno 5’ contestant Park Hee-seon has been teased as a new face for Season 2 of Netflix’s daily variety show ‘Death Game: Bet 10 million KRW (≈ $7,500 USD).’

Netflix dropped episode 11 of ‘Death Game: Bet 10 million KRW (≈ $7,500 USD)’ on April 1, which staged a head-to-head brain match between DinDin — nicknamed the \”scheming monster\” — and survival specialist Seo Chul-gu.

DinDin arrived after defeating IVE’s Gaeul and KAIST AI researcher Heo Seong-beom, aiming for a third consecutive win and saying he’d developed an appreciation for the appeal of survival-style competitions. Seo Chul-gu, by contrast, is a seasoned presence from seasons 2 and 3 of ‘Blood Game.’ Host Jang Dong-min praised Seo as a survival stalwart and said he was someone who had even offered to be a rival, raising expectations for the showdown.

The challenge, called \”Suspects,\” is a logic puzzle in which players must identify three suspects whose attribute combinations line up across multiple images. Each suspect has four attributes — time of day, hairstyle, disguise and weapon — and for a correct arrest each attribute must be either all the same or all different. The match centers on who can reach an \”arrest impossible\” state first. Jang described the game as an upgraded hybrid of shows like ‘The Genius,’ calling it highly entertaining.

From the opening moments, the contestants adopted contrasting strategies. Seo hunted for suspects by targeting rare attributes and took an aggressive approach to declaring an arrest impossible. DinDin opted to check attributes methodically, planning to call it only when he was certain. Jang emphasized the need for a clear logic that accounts for every possible scenario.

When play began in earnest, Seo quickly found his rhythm and pulled ahead, locating suspects and successfully predicting an arrest impossible situation. DinDin, despite early confidence, faltered and appeared rattled, while Jang’s snarky commentary provided comic relief. DinDin recovered some ground in the later rounds, but Seo maintained focus and closed out the win.

Seo Chul-gu, the episode 11 winner, claimed the season seed — the show’s symbol of victory — and the 10 million KRW prize (≈ $7,500 USD). DinDin, denied a three-peat, admitted, \”I’m embarrassed. I think I got too cocky. If I get another chance, I’ll show a better side.\”

Producers closed the episode by teasing Season 2, signaling that the first 11 matches effectively served as a buildup to the new season. The upcoming run will include a tournament of Season 1 winners and introduce several new contestants, including travel YouTuber KwakTube, KiiiKiii’s Jiyu, and Park Hee-seon from ‘Solo Inferno 5.’ Park, who finished as the final couple with Lim Su-bin when the series wrapped in February, is enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University in the U.S. and has recently arrived at Seoul National University as an exchange student.

‘Death Game’ will return for Season 2 on the 22nd after a three-week regroup following episode 11.
