[Sports Today reporter Jeong Ye-won] Lee Beom-soo opened up about his remorse toward his children on ‘My Ugly Duckling’.
On the April 12 broadcast of SBS’s variety program ‘My Ugly Duckling’ (hereafter Miwoosae), actor Lee Beom-soo — who recently finalized a divorce by mutual agreement — appeared on the show.
When producers asked how he had been, Lee said, \”I feel like a new chapter is beginning. As many people know, I’ve had some personal matters over the past two to three years. They were resolved recently.\”
He added, \”There are no winners in a divorce. It’s not my pain that matters — I’m deeply sorry to my children. I’ve ended up leaving pain with my family,\” expressing regret.
Addressing media reports about the divorce process, he said, \”I was very upset from my perspective. But I think staying silent was the right choice. I feel terribly sorry for my children.\”
