[Sports Seoul | Lim Jae-cheong] Tiffany Young unveiled a new set of profile photos that reveal a deeper, more mature presence. Fresh off being cast in the lead role of the musical Yumi’s Cells and ahead of a new song marking her 10th year as a solo artist, she has kicked off a busy slate that spans both music and theater.

On April 21, Pacific Music Group (PMG) Korea posted the new profile on its official account. In the photos, Tiffany presents a more pronounced acting persona. Restrained styling and nuanced emotional cues combine to create a calm, layered mood.

In the released images, she leans into minimalism with a black turtleneck and natural hair, while an effortless gaze and subtle facial expressions deliver a clean, immersive emotional arc. By favoring restraint over spectacle, the new profile underscores another side of Tiffany’s potential as an actress.

Alongside the new images, Tiffany is intensifying her acting career. She will play the title role of Yumi in the musical Yumi’s Cells, which opens June 30. Based on the popular webtoon, the production traces the everyday life and romances of office worker Yumi; Tiffany is expected to anchor the piece with her characteristic subtlety and expressiveness.

Earlier, Tiffany demonstrated strong vocal chops and commanding stage presence as Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago. In Yumi’s Cells, she is poised to broaden her range with more delicate, emotionally layered performances.

After announcing an exclusive contract with PMG Korea and signaling a new chapter, Tiffany will continue her music career as well. In May, she plans to release a pre-release single from a full-length album celebrating her 10th solo anniversary. She aims to deepen her connection with fans through a mix of music and acting projects.

The musical Yumi’s Cells, starring Tiffany Young, opens at the CJ Towol Theater at the Seoul Arts Center on June 30. pensier37@sportsseoul.com
