TXT’s Yeonjun and Soobin Reveal Travel Tips After Pricey Taxi Incident in the Philippines

In the episode, the pair visited a comic café with Park Myung-soo ahead of their comeback, shared a meal and swapped stories. When Park opened by asking, \”Does it ever bother you to be so handsome?\” Yeonjun and Soobin answered without hesitation, \”Not at all,\” sending the room into laughter.

Soobin also recounted a recent taxi overcharge he experienced in Cebu, Philippines. Following Taehyun’s advice to push back, Soobin said he protested when a driver quoted a fare more than three times what he expected. After haggling, he paid a somewhat higher price to settle the matter and noted that the vlog documenting the incident drew a larger reaction than he anticipated.

Local Philippine media picked up the story, and reports said authorities even ordered the taxi operator to suspend business — an unusual move. Still, Soobin spoke positively about the trip: \”The Philippines was really great. The people impressed me.\”

The two also discussed their recent contract renewal with HYBE (BigHit Music). Soobin said he sought advice from several senior artists before renegotiating and learned to start negotiations with bold, seemingly unreasonable demands — a strategy that helped him secure a satisfactory deal.

Their most amusing anecdote involved shared underwear. Yeonjun said living with many members means laundry often gets mixed up, making it hard to tell his underwear apart. He even marked his undergarments \”YJ,\” yet Soobin admitted he wore them anyway. Soobin laughed and added that the group now avoids the problem by assigning each member a signature brand.
