G-Dragon’s Backstage Moments: Exclusive 30-Minute Interview Before Coachella Performance

[Sports Seoul | Reporter Yoon Dong-eon] Big Bang member G-Dragon showed a close bond with Kwanghee even as he prepared for his Coachella performance.
On May 1, the YouTube channel ‘Solomon Code’ posted a video titled ‘One hour before Big Bang’s Coachella show! G-Dragon backstage — 30-minute interview.’ The clip captures G-Dragon greeting Kwanghee warmly amid the pre-show rush.
That day Kwanghee opened the interview by saying, “I’ll film for exactly 30 minutes, then go,” and thanked G-Dragon, noting he replied “OK” as soon as he got a text about the program. G-Dragon laughed and said, “I really didn’t think you’d come.”
When asked why he agreed to the interview despite being busy with show preparations, G-Dragon answered plainly, “He asked me to do it once, so I did.”
Asked how he felt before the Coachella set, he said, “I’m not nervous. It’s because I’m performing with the members again after a long time.” On handling jet lag, he added, “I don’t have jet lag. I stay busy. I’ve been living this life for more than 10 years — I go to sleep and wake up in a different country. So I don’t get jet-lagged.”
