On the night of the 11th, KBS Joy’s variety show \”Ask Anything\” featured an update on Yuju, the former GFRIEND singer, with hosts Lee Soo-geun and Seo Jang-hoon leading the segment.

Yuju was the leader of GFRIEND and has continued her career as a solo artist since the group’s disbandment. She said preparation for a new solo album has left her emotionally fragile.

When she appeared on the show, viewers expressed worry over what they called a \”gaunt\” figure. Her unusually slim frame for her height appeared to reflect the mental stress and pressure she has been under while preparing the album.
