Taeyang offered a look behind the scenes of his solo album.
On the 12th, the TEO channel posted a video titled “Screw It! Banchella Behind-the-Scenes, New Song Behind-the-Scenes, Meme Behind-the-Scenes — Full Reveal; EP. 139 Taeyang.”
In the clip, comedian Jang Do-yeon asked whether the new song’s release date had been set for Taeyang’s birthday, quipping, “Is that self-love?” Taeyang laughed it off, saying it wasn’t intentional — the date simply happened to line up.
He added that his original plan was to time the release around Coachella, but once the festival was confirmed the schedule grew complicated. Artists often release albums or singles on Mondays, he noted, and his birthday fell on a Monday. “Why does this sound like I’m making excuses?” he joked, drawing laughter.
