On the 14th, Kang Min-kyung uploaded a video to her YouTube channel titled “Senpai, did you eat it all? lol.”
In the video, Kang asked whether Hwasa had fully recovered from the injury. Hwasa said she had. “I’m completely healed, thankfully,” she said, adding that hospital staff initially alarmed her. “I knocked over a warm-mist humidifier, and the water was hotter than 100°C (212°F). I was naked at the time,” she recalled.
She added that, fortunately, the hot water didn’t pour directly over her body. It spilled onto the floor, and while she tried to avoid it she stepped into the spill. “It poured so heavily that I stepped right into it,” she said.
Hwasa said she performed with her feet bandaged. She also noted that those around her kept chanting “ride the saw” to psych her up, a refrain that drew attention.
Earlier, ahead of a recent performance, Hwasa stepped into water from a warm-mist humidifier and was diagnosed with second-degree burns on the soles of her feet.
