On January 20th, Samsung C&T’s fashion division announced the grand opening of French brand ami’s largest global flagship store in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

ami is set to make waves in Hannam-dong, a shopping hotspot beloved by Seoul’s fashion-forward crowd. The brand aims to strengthen its connection with Target customers by showcasing its identity and warm aesthetic in the heart of this chic, modern urban center.

Prepare to be wowed: The ami Hannam flagship spans an impressive 425㎡ (that’s about 128 pyeong), making it the largest ami store worldwide. Fashion enthusiasts can explore men’s collections on the first floor, while the second floor houses women’s pieces and an exclusive VIP room. Get ready to feast your eyes on the fresh 2026 spring/summer (SS) collection! And come April, a charming rooftop garden will add even more allure to this fashion destination.

Step inside, and you’ll be transported to a world where traditional Korean architecture meets Parisian chic. The store’s design masterfully blends oak and granite, creating an inviting atmosphere accented by ami’s signature beige and gold tones. Mirrors add depth, while lighting inspired by delicate hanji paper casts a soft, dreamy glow. Sink into custom wooden furniture and low seating – this space is designed for comfort and style.

But wait, there’s more! Art lovers will adore the in-store exhibition space. Reflecting ami designer Alexandre Mattiussi’s passion for art, the brand has partnered with a local pipe gallery to create a cultural hub.
