‘First Outcome’ Gamtan Bra Debuts
Plans to extend use to Wonderbra and other labels
Hyosung TNC has partnered with lifestyle-wear specialist Gritty to develop a new product line using innovative materials designed for everyday comfort and performance.
On the 24th, Hyosung TNC and Gritty announced they had signed a technical research agreement at Gritty’s headquarters to formalize their collaboration.
The agreement centers on applying Hyosung TNC’s high-performance fabrics across Gritty’s flagship brands. The two companies will work together from material research and product development to product launches for Gritty labels like the Gamtan Bra.
As part of the collaboration, they co-developed a fabric called AquaFresh25 and applied it to Gritty’s seamless underwear line, Gamtan Bra. The regular and large-cup versions of the new Gamtan Bra 2025 Airsoft hit the market in February.
AquaFresh25 combines Hyosung TNC’s cooling nylon yarn, CREORA® Aqua-X, with the deodorizing spandex CREORA® Fresh to create a high-performance fabric. It delivers strong cooling effects, exceptional stretch and durability, deodorizing performance that chemically neutralizes odor-causing molecules, a soft, moist-cool hand feel, and a close, comfortable fit.
The Gamtan Bra 2025 Airsoft, crafted with AquaFresh25 and Hyosung’s proprietary soft mold, is designed for long-wear comfort while maintaining a flattering silhouette and precise fit.
Kim Chi-hyung, CEO of Hyosung TNC, said the product development is a meaningful outcome of a year of close communication with Gritty and that the company plans to deepen collaboration on research, product development, and launches going forward.
Beyond the Gamtan Bra, the two companies plan to expand their collaboration across all of Gritty’s brands, including Wonderbra, Playtex, Just My Size, Benetton, Juicy Couture and WITTE.
