Affordable Denim and Shirts for About 10,000 KRW (approximately $7.50) Are Expanding

E-Land Retail announced on the 26th that it will position NC Basic, the fashion label it launched in September 2023, as a retailer-run SPA that handles planning, production and retail in-house.

The company says it will double down on NC Basic’s core strength—affordable pricing—while expanding product categories and store sizes to accelerate its push into the retailer-led SPA market.

On the 1st of next month, NC Basic will reopen its first model store on the first floor of NC Songpa after renovating a 198 m² space (about 2,131 sq ft; roughly 60 pyeong). The refreshed store expands its apparel lineup and adds innerwear, loungewear and accessories, offering around 130 items.

Styles will range from denim-focused everyday pieces to office-ready looks, workout-friendly activewear and cozy loungewear, presented in a broad seasonal color palette.

E-Land Retail’s retailer-driven SPA model means the company plans and manufactures items in-house and sells them through its own distribution network, allowing it to offer more competitive prices.

Aimed at value-conscious shoppers, NC Basic posted strong results last year with sales in the 10 billion KRW range (approximately $7.5 million).
