[SPOTV News= Reporter Bae Sun-young] Singer Seo In-young revealed she once splurged on a sofa worth 25,000,000 KRW (approximately $18,750) for her newlywed home.
On the 29th, Seo uploaded a video to her YouTube channel titled “Seo In-young Cooks Doenjang Stew and Rolls Gimbap at Home All Day — First Reveal (-10kg Diet Gimbap).”
When the crew told her one of her previous videos had received 20,000 comments, Seo said she cried at first but then got used to it and read them all. “I’m so grateful,” she added. While answering subscriber questions, she explained the sofa a viewer asked about was something she bought in Gonjiam; she couldn’t remember the furniture store’s name. “It was listed at 5,000,000 KRW (approximately $3,750), and I bought it for 3,000,000 KRW (approximately $2,250),” she said.
When the crew asked who bought it, Seo replied, “I did.”
After a crew member remarked, “So you spent all your money there,” Seo reacted with a surprised “oh” and admitted she had.
Born in 1984, Seo In-young married a non-celebrity businessman 11 years her senior in February 2023, but they divorced in November of the following year.
After a brief hiatus, Seo launched her personal YouTube channel “Turning Over a New Leaf — Seo In-young” on the 28th of last month. The channel has quickly surpassed 600,000 subscribers.
