Models Lotte Department Store announced on May 1 that it has opened a festival-style art platform for children called Kids Art Station (KiAS) at the Jamsil World Park plaza. Reimagining a children’s art contest with about 40 years of tradition, the event emphasizes hands-on creativity and offers a variety of interactive art experiences parents and kids can enjoy together.

In an exclusive department-store collaboration with Walt Disney Company Korea, the festival features an immersive program inspired by the Star Wars universe, including the new Mandalorian and Grogu themes. Guests who complete a three-stage creative mission—starting in a spaceship-inspired maze and including drawing challenges—will receive Star Wars–themed merchandise.

The center of the Kids Art Station plaza showcases a 10-meter-tall (about 33-foot) Grogu sculpture. The event also offers interactive Star Wars–themed games and a Star Wars x LEGO collaboration showroom.

Models The festival runs a range of creative programs, including \”Galactic Voyage Journal,\” produced with Korea Fujifilm, where families can print treasured smartphone photos and decorate them, and \”Galaxy Baking,\” a Korea-first collaboration with U.S.-based The Cheesecake Factory that lets kids decorate and make their own cakes.

Kids Art Station is open daily from 11 AM to 8 PM. Entry is free with advance reservation or on-site registration. The event runs through Sunday, May 17.
