[Sports Seoul | Reporter Yoon Dong-eon] Actress Lee Min-jung got candid about how she’s skipped wearing backless looks because of her husband Lee Byung-hun’s reaction.
In a video posted May 12 to her YouTube channel ‘Lee Min-jung MJ,’ titled “Solo Europe trip without the kids… What should I wear? *Leaving this week,” she walked viewers through her packing and prep for the trip.
At the start of the video she beamed, “I’m finally going to Europe by myself,” and laughed as she explained there’s been a lot of pushback at home. “My son Jun-ho and my husband worry a lot. My daughter Seo-i doesn’t really understand yet,” she said.
She added that she wants to capture lots of moody, picture-perfect shots in Europe, and thought viewers might find a styling video helpful when deciding what to pack.
Later, she tried on several outfits with stylist Seo Soo-kyung and turned heads in a striking red backless dress.
About the dress she revealed, “I bought it in the U.S. after my second child was born. I wore it once and hardly ever wore it again — my husband really disliked it.”
She joked, “I don’t know why they’re so opposed to backless styles. I like it — isn’t it refreshing?”
