A ‘Modern House’ styled in a casual American vibe is turning heads for its practical, adaptable interior that works across many spaces. Designers sensitively remodeled a 40-pyeong (about 1,423 sq ft) older apartment in Taiwan, transforming it into a cozy, comfortable home that celebrates a family’s everyday happiness.

The bright main area—where natural light, ventilation and airflow all work well—puts the living room and kitchen at the heart of the home. Designers kept the palette crisp white, laid warm wood floors, and layered the lighting to add thoughtful detail and a calm, upscale vibe.
