bhc, the chicken brand from Dining Brands Group, has officially launched takeout ordering on Danggeun, Korea’s leading neighborhood community app. The move is designed to expand customer touchpoints while supporting franchisees.
This partnership lets customers easily order bhc menu items through Danggeun’s local platform at affordable prices.
Anyone who completes neighborhood verification in the Danggeun app can view nearby bhc locations, place a takeout order, and pick up their food.
The service is simple to use.
Open the Danggeun app’s ‘Neighborhood Map’ tab and search for ‘bhc.’ Stores that accept takeout orders will appear on the map above and in the list below.
Stores are sorted by distance from the user, so customers can get their orders faster and with less hassle.
The listing’s core goal is to support franchisees. With Danggeun’s 43 million registered users, bhc expects to maximize online visibility for its stores. By taking advantage of Danggeun’s 0% commission model, bhc also plans to significantly cut platform fees for franchisees and help boost local commerce.
To celebrate the launch, bhc and Danggeun are offering attractive discounts for Danggeun users.
During the promotion, the first customers to order bhc takeout through the Danggeun app will receive a 7,000 KRW (about $5.25) discount on a first-come, first-served basis. After those slots are gone, a 3,000 KRW (about $2.25) discount will be available through the end of the month.
It’s a win-win: customers score great deals, and franchisees benefit from increased orders and real cost savings.
Meanwhile, bhc continues to run promotions on its own app to reward customers and drive sales for franchisees.
Through March 31, bhc is running the Ppuringquency Challenge Season 3, combining fun and rewards. Customers who complete three orders that include the mission menu item ‘Kwasakking’ will receive a total discount of 10,000 KRW (about $7.50).
