[iNews24 reporter So Jin-seop] Chungju’s local-food direct-sales shop, Chungju C-Shop, has opened its second location at Apgujeong Station on Seoul Subway Line 3.
Chungju City announced on March 17 that the Apgujeong branch offers seasonal produce from local farms—like apples and peaches—along with regional specialties such as honey, hangwa (traditional Korean confections), and beef and pork from the Chungju Livestock Cooperative.
The shop is open daily from 10 AM to 8 PM, except Sundays.

Kwon Eun-ha, head of Chungju City’s Agricultural Food Distribution Division, said, “By introducing Chungju’s fresh, safe farm products directly to Seoul residents, we hope to boost local farmers’ incomes and strengthen consumer trust.”
Chungju opened its first local-food direct-sales shop in July last year at Sangye Station on Seoul Subway Line 4. The store has recorded cumulative sales of 400 million KRW (approximately $300,000) and has attracted roughly 65,000 visitors.
