Hacienda de Tequila Reposado Black Wins Gold: Why This Premium Tequila is a Must-Try in 2026

Y&K Care Associates, a specialty liquor importer, announced on April 7 that its premium tequila, Hacienda de Tepa Reposado Black, took the top prize in the Spirit Tequila Gold category. The win follows last year’s honor for Hacienda de Tepa Blanco, giving the brand back-to-back recognition.

Now in its 13th year, the Korea Liquor Awards is the country’s premier spirits competition. Launched by ChosunBiz in 2014, the event aims to spotlight outstanding domestic drinks and foster a healthier drinking culture.

This year, 260 companies entered a total of 1,118 brands, making it the largest comprehensive liquor tasting in Korea. Of those entries, 449 brands were honored with top awards.

Hacienda de Tepa is a premium tequila produced in Mexico’s Jalisco region. The award-winning Reposado Black is crafted from 100% blue agave and builds on traditional reposado aging with a distinctive twist: charred wood is added inside the oak barrels, giving the spirit a deep, dark-brown hue.
