‘Neighborhood Stroll’ host Lee Man-gi stopped by Heulgot Village in Ansan.
On the 18th episode of KBS 1TV’s ‘Neighborhood Stroll,’ Lee Man-gi sampled gat-gul (fresh oysters) in Heulgot Village, Ansan.
The spread was abundant: wild flounder sashimi and gochujang kalguksu (noodle soup flavored with spicy red pepper paste) topped with gat-gul. Add in the ocean view, and the whole scene felt nothing short of dreamy.
After tasting the gat-gul, Lee Man-gi exclaimed, “It’s like the sea just entered my mouth.” He added, “I thought they’d be chewy, but they’re incredibly tender.”
He continued, “Maybe because of the gat-gul, the broth is bright, a little spicy, and refreshingly clean.” The wild flounder was a showstopper as well. Lee Man-gi summed it up: “It’s incredible.”
